A unique approach to pilates that helps you start with YOUR body, and not just with the program.
Contrary to what all the memes might tell you…
IT ISN'T ALWAYS EASY TO FALL IN LOVE WITH PILATES OR EXERCISE IN GENERAL.
If you have PAIN or aren’t sure how to MODIFY an exercise in a class, the whole experience can be frustrating, overwhelming, and demotivating - especially if it feels like the instructor doesn’t understand how to make the exercises work for your body in person.
My speciality is helping clients of ALL LEVELS become aware of UNKNOWN PATTERNS that may be contributing to PAIN, DISCOMFORT, or INJURY when they workout.
Many teachers don’t take the time to address these patterns, but when you finally learn about it you’re rewarded with a taller, less painful, more motivated version of yourself. Having the endurance for all things that matter in your life is why you should feel successful with your fitness routines. I can help you discover those missing pieces to your best Pilates self so you can be a part of your own solution.

Are you a Pilates teacher? [popup_anything id="187"]
Hey there, I’m Tara.
I’m a Pilates teacher and movement educator with over 15 years of experience helping people build the body awareness and strength they need for all of the life activities they enjoy with less pain. I also work with new Pilates teachers to help them refine their cueing and understand the right progressions and exercises to get their clients better results.
When I’m not teaching Pilates, you can find me shamelessly sharing cat videos online and tango dancing on the Los Angeles night scene.
In-Person Training
I teach in Santa Monica, California, in a beautiful, fully-equipped, open-air studio with free parking.
